SBL have launched their first Platform: Monitoring Service within their Platform Hub.
What is Platform: Monitoring?
Platform Monitoring is a remotely delivered monitoring service that monitors everything in the customers’ infrastructure.
Using LogicMonitor, SBL will monitor the customers’ critical infrastructure automatically correlating data to provide answers on how the customer can avoid issues and optimise their IT environment.
The customer will receive insight, via automated reports and dashboards, improving visibility of issues and increasing efficiency.
SBL will provide the customer with everything they need to monitor their IT environment, from setting to service up to making sure it continues to run efficiently.
Initially we will undertake a deployment program where we understand the systems thresholds, rules, escalation chains and reporting/dashboard the customer requires. Then, after installing LogicMonitor’s secure agent-less collector on their platform, we will ensure the agreed processes are implemented including setting up all the access, alerting and dashboards the customer needs.
The monitoring will require tuning over the life of the service, but this is particularly true during set up. A 2-week period of fine tuning of thresholds and rules to avoid alert storms and set a baseline will be undertook.
Once live the customer will have access to the following services
- Personalised dashboards showing the health of their systems
- Alerting of issues with a defined delivery mechanism (default will be email)
- Monthly reporting and insight packs so you can see in detail what is happening on their estate
- Service desk portal access for incidents and change management
- Quarterly Service Reviews
